Domestic violence can take many forms. It may involve physical aggression, verbal abuse, emotional manipulation, forced sexual activity or financial control. Domestic violence crosses all age, racial, ethnic, nation-orientation, sexual, gender preference, spiritual and socioeconomic boundaries.

Lurana Shelter Society is a registered, charitable organization serving victims of domestic violence in Edmonton, Alberta and surrounding area. We strive to provide abused women and children with every necessary support to permanently break free from the cycle of family violence.
