Ebenezer Baptist Church was organized in 1954, moved to a new neighborhood in 1961, outgrew that facility, and moved to Silverspring in 1991, completing the facility in 1999. Ebenezer has been blessed through Lead Pastor, Leyton Erickson’s Christ-centered, Bible-based equipping ministry and leadership.

Ebenezer is affiliated with the Baptist General Conference of Canada (BGCC), whose headquarters are located in Edmonton, Alberta. There are presently one hundred churches in the BGCC, with churches in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec.
