Interested parties may download the call for papers which outlines topics of interest and submission protocols. The theme for the 2011 Convention is: "From Book to Bucket - working to a new standard". The current installation season has presented some new challenges for onsite wastewater practitioners as they work to under a new Standard of Practice. The 2011 convention theme recognizes this and will focus on providing support and solutions for the industry as adaptation to this new standard progresses. Delegates are sure to gain value from further training in soils and site evaluation and reporting, the application of timed dosing controls and high water alarms, troubleshooting failed systems and design and install for difficult sites. As well as providing excellent opportunities for learning and networking, the Convention is the venue for the AOWMA Annual General Meeting. Each year positions on the Board of Directors become available.
